| Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Any Company donations will be well noted throughout the race (signs, flyers, on runners T-shirts etc) or, if you prefer to provide you own company banners, signs etc. As mentioned above, ALL PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY to The Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitations Center to benefit the residents at Seacoast. For example, we provide Media equipment for recreational rooms, sponsor summer concerts, built a garden/courtyard for residents to enjoy, provide holiday gifts/entertainment as well. This year, we are working towards building a Solarium on the back of the building in addition to maintaining our previous activities for the residents. | Friends of Seacoast, the fund raising committee for the Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitations Center, in Gloucester, MA is organizing the 3rd Annual Seacoast Seven Road Race in Gloucester on July 22nd, 2006. Last year’s race was a great success and we are expecting a much larger turnout for 2006. Listed below are some details of the race: · All proceeds from the race go directly to The Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitations Center · This is a certified course. · There will be a 1 mile fun run starting at 8:30 am · The Seacoast Seven (7 mile road race) which starts at 9:00 am · The start/finish line is located on Western Ave (on Stacey Boulevard near Stage Fort Park) · There will be music before and after the race · Chowder and cold drinks will be served at the finish line · Individual age group trophies as well as team trophies will be awarded · The Gloucester Police Department will provide security. · The race is listed on www.coolrunning.com as well as on www.runnersworld.com · Costs: $10 for the Fun Run and $20 for the Seacoast Seven · Registration: Use the "Register Online" link at the left to go to our online registration site, or to print a registration form for mailing.
